I don't want any personal details I'm just hoping someone can advise if that kid ended up being ok? (Pool was evacuated due to a water safety issue with a kid near the waterslide)

Hiya folks,

We're visiting with a mixed group (young and older) in the morning but not for sunrise. I was thinking of doing the sliding sands trail, but only partway as the group probably isn't great for a long hike. Is that the best way to experience the geography of the crater and also getting some good views? We're probably up for about an hour of walking around, total.
