HSR tracks for Gold Runner Madera to Wasco?

Getting the funds to have even just the IOS operational by 2033 seems very uncertain. From the buildHSR map it looks like construction has only really been done from Madera to Wasco. At these locations it parallels the tracks Gold Runner uses now. What's the viability of pivoting to an interim service. Getting HSR track between Madera/Wasco with barebones stations along the way and having Gold Runner use them instead of BNSF for that segment. They could put off catenary and trainsets until they manage to get more funding. Gold Runner won't be the true "high speed" but would see less delay and the time savings would probably allow them to add in another daily trip or two.

New optometrist. New prescription feels uncomfortable.

My previous prescription was:

Rx SPH Cyl Axis
OD -3.25 +1.5 110
OS -2.75 +1.25 90

I went to a new optometrist, they didn't ask my old prescription they just said they could measure it from my glasses. After they checked my old glasses and conducted the exam I was given my new prescription:

Rx SPH Cyl Axis
OD -2.00 -1.5 20
OS -1.50 -1.25 4

I ordered glasses based on this prescription. They improve my vision just as well as the old prescription, but they make my eyes feel really uncomfortable, even some mild headaches. I figured they might take getting used to, but after 2 attempts at wearing them a few days I've gone back to wearing my old glasses.

I just thought it was odd the new prescription was so different, even when the actual correction to my vision looks about the same. Is this like the inverse of my old prescription or something? It seems to more closely align with my contacts prescription, which feels fine:

Rx SPH Cyl Axis
OD -2.00 -1.25 20
OS -1.50 -1.25 180

Is this just something that would take getting use? or should I go back and explain my old glasses prescription?
