Reminded of Law of One and catalyst while studying Biochemistry
In my biochemistry class we are learning about enzymes. The textbook chapter begins by saying “Enzymes, the catalysts of biological systems, are remarkable molecular devices… [they] accelerate reactions by factors of as much as a million or more. Indeed, most reactions in biological systems do not take place at a perceptible rates in the absence of enzymes.”
I find this beautiful because it reminds me that our catalyst in life, whether that’s our trauma or interactions with others or anything else, speeds our spiritual growth likely by factors of as much as a million more, just like enzymes. This is why life is so difficult sometimes. We learn from the pain. If we didn’t have it we would stagnate and learn very very slowly. Our experiences and our enzymes our both catalyst, just one for biology and the other for spirituality. Just wanted to share this interesting parallel. Thanks for reading!
