Looking into getting into barefoot shoes, both running and walking

Like the title says, I'm looking into recommendations on how/where to start with barefoot shoes for both running and walking. I run between 5-10km a day most days, as well as walk 10km (5km to work and then back later) on top of that.

I'm planning to just do barefoot shoes for walking to start, and then slowly transition to running (while using non-barefoot shoes to run still). Does this plan make sense? I was thinking of trying Whitin shoes walking to start and then move up from there.

Anything I'm missing? Or should I jump right in with this. Thanks!
