Island depth is 49.5 inches. Length is 87 inches. Is 49.5 inches enough to have shallow cabinet storage in the back of the island? There is a trash can pullout in the front on one side of the island. Then there is a 30 inch sink in the middle and on the other side of the island there is a dishwasher. Appreciate any insights, thank you!
While it’s great that it’s super optimized for a right handed person cooking with the largest cooking zone and the touchscreen on the right, does anyone else here feel if there is another person on the left cooking at the same time, the touchscreen being in the bottom right corner is inconvenient? Do most people just prefer the touchscreen controls to be in the bottom center for this reason? Appreciate any insights, thank you!

Here is my situation- I live in the US, I am a US citizen and my dad is not and he lives overseas. He is trying to gift a property that he owns overseas to me before he sells it this year. It is my understanding that it will trigger long term capital gains tax for me in the US and it will have to be reported in my US tax return. Taxes will of course be paid in India (think it’s 14-15%) and I know we can claim foreign tax credit here in the US but my question is what’s the long term capital gains rate for me in the US. What would the taxes owed here in the US?
A CPA had mentioned to me that if my MAGI is less than $700K, then tax owed in the US will be the same as tax paid in India but I really don’t see anything online that can confirm that. Is that statement from the CPA accurate? Is there anything online that can verify that or shows the taxes owed based on MAGI? Appreciate any insights, thank you!
I’m 33M, had blood in my urine for 5 days and then it stopped. Urine tests revealed no UTI and CT scan revealed no kidney stones, no cancer of the bladder or kidneys. Blood tests were fine. I had no pain when urinating and there was also no back or abdominal pain. Still not clear what the underlying cause of the blood in urine was. And even when there is now no longer blood in urine, there is this red string/worm like thing, the photo is very zoomed in, in realty it is tiny but what is this? Has anyone seen something like this?
