Urgent: Free foster or adopter needed for Mocha, an abandoned Siamese cat

Hi everyone,

Mocha was abandoned and eventually found a loving home. Unfortunately, after almost a year, she is being returned because one of the resident cats has started behaving differently around her.

The adopter has told us that Mocha herself is actually very calm around other cats. They had been cat-sitting a friend's cat and Mocha didn't have any issues with her at all, no hissing, no aggression, nothing. The problem seems to be with the resident cats, rather than Mocha.

This is what her adopter told us:

\> “She keeps trying to run away. She is not bothered with cats honestly cuz we were cat sitting one of our friend's cats so she didn't bother at all, super chill, no hissing, nothing. It's just my sibling cats who are the worst with other cats. I don't think it's her issue more like my cats who are creating the issue.

\> She doesn't like being touched unless and until she wants to. Then she will come and rub all around you. She loves playing with balls.”

The bigger issue is that Mocha isn't a people-loving cat. She doesn't enjoy being handled or constantly touched, and she needs someone who understands that cats don't have to behave like dogs.

Right now, she is confined to a small catio because the house already has 9 cats and a small baby, so there simply isn't enough space. She keeps trying to get out and, heartbreakingly, she hasn't eaten properly for 4 days and seems very withdrawn.

We really want to give her another chance.

Mocha needs a calm, patient home where she can have her own space and approach people on her own terms. Someone who won't expect her to immediately cuddle, sit in their lap or shower them with affection.

My own feral cat took almost 3 years to really open up to me. Even now, she prefers her space and comes to me for affection only when she wants it. But she eventually learned to trust me and I believe cats like Mocha can do the same when they're given enough time and patience.

So we're looking for someone who understands cats, especially shy/independent ones, and is willing to let Mocha be Mocha.

We are looking for a free foster or adopter in Delhi/NCR.

No shelter, please. She needs a quiet environment, space and patience.

The alternative is releasing her back to the place where we originally found her and continuing to check on her during our feeding rounds. We really don't want that to be her future, especially after she has already experienced a home.

She is

Spayed ✅

Vaccinated ✅

Dewormed ✅

Location: New Delhi

Please help us give Mocha one more chance. ❤️

If you can foster or adopt her, or know someone who might be a good fit, please DM me.

And even if you can't help directly, please share this post.

Sometimes the right person is just one share away.

This chunky orange mafia boss finally got arrested... now I need help paying his bail (aka neuter surgery 🧡)

Hi everyone,

Meet Google 🧡

Google is the newest alpha male to show up at our feeding area. He's a big, chunky ginger boy with absolutely no fear of humans or other cats. He walked in like he owned the place and honestly, he acted like it too.

The problem is that he's been getting into fights with our resident stray cats, all of whom are already neutered and spayed. The injuries and stress were only going to get worse, so getting Google trapped and neutered became a priority.

It wasn't easy, but after a lot of patience, I finally managed to trap him.

Now comes the hard part.

I really need help covering the cost of his neuter surgery.

If you've seen my post history, you know we've had an incredibly difficult month with unexpected vet bills. We're also caring for 60+ stray cats, and things have become so tight that we currently only have enough food to last until Sunday.

Despite all of that, I couldn't ignore Google. Neutering him means fewer fights, fewer injuries, and hopefully a much calmer life for him and the other cats in the colony. It's one surgery that will make a lasting difference.

I know some people might think why did you neuter him if there are other expenses to focus on. But for us spay and neuter is the most important thing. We might not be able to feed them for sometime but TNR changes their life. And to reduce their suffering on the street, it's the best decision that we can make for them. Also they do not depend on us for food and we definitely do not want them to depend on us for it. We feed them to provide that one meal a day in case they weren't able to get something to eat. Most of them wait for us everyday to get pets and love...

Anyway,

If just 9 kind people could donate ₹500 each, we'd be able to cover his surgery.. 🙏🙏

Every contribution, no matter the amount, genuinely helps. And if you're not in a position to donate, an upvote or sharing this post would mean so much and helps more people see it.

Thank you for caring about Google and our little colony. I truly appreciate every bit of kindness and support. ❤️

Please continue to support TNR. It's the best thing we can do for our street babies.

URGENT: Can Reddit help end Rubina's 6 month wait? She deserves a home, not a cage. ❤️ (Delhi)

Hi everyone,

I'm posting this because I genuinely don't want Rubina to spend another day wondering why no one has come for her.

Rubina is a beautiful ginger female cat who was rescued after a road accident. She had a badly injured leg and was brought to the vet where she received the treatment she desperately needed.

She fought through the pain, recovered wonderfully, and today she's completely sterilized, vaccinated, healthy, and ready for a home.

But that's where her story stopped.

For the last 5-6 months, Rubina has been living in a vet's cage, not because she's sick anymore, but simply because no one ever came to adopt or foster her.

We only found out about her through our vet, who sterilizes the stray cats in our area.

The moment we met her, she stole our hearts. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, affectionate, and just wants human company. Every time someone walks by, she hopes they might finally be her person.

Imagine surviving an accident, recovering, and then spending months watching other animals leave while you stay behind.

She deserves so much more than four walls and metal bars.

🐾 About Rubina

* 📍 Delhi

* 🧡 Female ginger cat (quite rare!)

* ✅ Sterilized

* ✅ Vaccinated

* ✅ Healthy

* ❤️ Extremely sweet and friendly

If you're not ready for a lifetime commitment, a foster-to-adopt arrangement is absolutely welcome too. Even giving her a chance outside the cage would mean the world.

We really want her to leave the cage and find some warmth in a house with a lovely human.

If you think you might be able to help, or know someone looking to adopt a cat, please send me a message.

And if you can't adopt, you can still help Rubina immensely:

* Please upvote this postso more people see it.

* Please leave a comment, even if it's just to boost engagement.

* Please share this post with friends, family, WhatsApp groups, or anyone who might be looking for a companion.

Reddit has worked miracles before. Maybe the right person is reading this right now.

Let's help make sure Rubina's story doesn't end in a cage.

Thank you for reading. ❤️

Update: Pimpi

Hey guys,

I have good news...

The treatment is working. Pimpi is slowly getting strength back in both of his legs.

As you can see in the video, he is playful and energetic. There is movement in both the legs and the vet is sure that Pimpi will make full recovery 🎉❤️🙏

We still have to make the final payment at discharge.

Please help us raise 20k for PIMPI and his journey to get better.

Another news is that Pimpi has also hopefully secured himself a home. So after treatment, he might get adopted 🤞🤞

Thank you for your help everyone.

Please continue to support us through this.

Thank you!

Urgent: Pimpi needs one more Push

I honestly didn't want to make another fundraiser post so soon.

A lot of people have already helped Pimpi and I feel incredibly grateful to the people who helped from instagram, reddit and people around me. With that help and some funds from our pockets, we've managed to pay around ₹50,000 of his 1 month treatment costs already.

But we're still not there yet.

For anyone who hasn't been following, Pimpi is the kitten who was attacked by dogs and lost movement in his hind legs. He's still at the vet and undergoing treatment.

The estimate for his laser therapy, physiotherapy and ongoing care is over ₹99,000 (approx 1 lakh rupees).

We've somehow managed to reach the halfway point.

We still need around ₹50,000 more.

I know that's a lot of money. Trust me, I look at that number every day and wonder how we're going to do it.

But then I look at Pimpi.

He eats well. He responds to people. He is really playful. He drags himself around. He's started showing movement in one leg. The vet still believes he has a chance. And honestly, so do I.

We've rescued and cared for a lot of cats over the years. We've seen animals everyone had given up on surprise us. We've seen cats walk again.

Maybe Pimpi won't have a perfect outcome. Maybe recovery will be slow. But I don't think we're at a point where giving up on him is fair when he's still fighting this hard.

The reality is that we're stretched very thin.

We already spend over ₹80,000 every month feeding stray cats and dogs. We currently have multiple cats receiving medical treatment, some cats undergoing sterilisation, and another cat at home who needs a special renal diet and medication.

But stopping Pimpi's treatment now would mean everything he's fought through so far was for nothing.

I keep thinking that ₹50,000 sounds impossible until I break it down.

If:

* 100 people donate ₹500, that's ₹50,000.

* 50 people donate ₹1,000, that's ₹50,000.

* Even ₹100 helps when enough people come together.

I'm not expecting one person to save Pimpi.

I'm hoping many people will come together and help give him a chance.

If you've ever donated before, thank you.

If you've ever shared one of my posts, thank you.

If you've ever commented to help boost visibility, thank you.

And if you're able to contribute anything at all towards the remaining amount, Pimpi and I would be incredibly grateful.

Please donate if you can.

And if you can't, please upvote, comment and share. Sometimes a share reaches the one person who can make all the difference.

I really want to look back a few months from now and be able to say that we gave him every chance possible.

Thank you for reading.. I'm extremely grateful for this subreddit and the kind people who care ❤️

URGENT: Update on PIMPI (the stray kitten attacked by dogs)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update on Pimpi and also ask for your help once again.

Pimpi is still at the vet. There is some positive news. He has started showing movement in his left leg. Unfortunately, there is still no movement in his right leg. Despite everything he has gone through, he is eating well and continues to fight every single day.

The vet had recommended a CT scan, but after his blood tests, we found that his haemoglobin levels were below the minimum required for anesthesia. Because of this, the scan has been postponed for now.

After examining him, the vet has recommended a one-month treatment plan that includes daily laser therapy and physiotherapy. He is hopeful that Pimpi can recover and walk again.

The problem is the cost.

The estimate for the next month of treatment is over ₹99,000 , and we simply cannot manage it alone.

As I have mentioned before, we already spend more than ₹80,000 every month feeding stray cats and dogs. At the moment, we also have four cats at the vet for sterilization. We cannot stop sterilizing because we truly believe it is the only way to prevent tragedies like what happened to Pimpi and so many other kittens.

In addition to that, we have:

- Another cat currently at the vet with a deep neck wound.

-A rescued cat at home who requires a renal diet and medication because of severe kidney issues.

-Veterinary expenses from the kittens I mentioned in my previous post, which were over ₹12,000.

It is all becoming incredibly overwhelming. But if we don't help, who will?

I know some people have suggested euthanasia, but I cannot understand how that would be the right choice for Pimpi right now. He is eating, he is fighting, he is responding to treatment, and the vet genuinely believes he has a chance. He wants to live. All I want is to give him that chance.

From my last Reddit post, we were able to raise around ₹15,000 for Pimpi. To everyone who donated, shared, commented, or simply wished him well, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Because of your kindness, we were able to pay his first veterinary bill of approximately ₹24,000. I will share the bill screenshots in the comments.

Today, I am asking for your help again.

Without support, we will not be able to continue the treatment that could help Pimpi recover.

Please, if you are able, consider donating. Whether it is ₹100, ₹500, ₹1000, or any amount at all, it will make a difference for him.

And if you cannot donate, please help by:

* Upvoting and engaging with this post.

* Leaving a comment so more people can see it.

* Sharing it with friends, family, or animal lovers who may be willing to help.

For regular updates, you can check out @straydogsandcat on Instagram.

You can also donate directly to the veterinary clinic. If you would like those details, please DM me or message +91 98716 76736

URGENT: HELP PIMPI WALK AGAIN

Hi everyone,

I'm here again to raise funds for yet another community cat. It will be more of a rant.

Like I have mentioned before as well, we feed around 60+ cats every single day in a residential area.

We have made sure to spay and neuter and vaccinate all the cats we feed. Even the non regular ones.

But there are so many people in this area who are against spay neuter, feeding and won't let us trap these cats so we can give them a better chance at life. They'll say these are 'our' cats and we don't want to sterilize them. It's natural. Blah blah

They are absolutely okay seeing kittens dying, females in heat, fighting and then turn around and say that they take care of them.

Yet when something happens to these cats, we are the ones they call. Always.

Cat injured, le jao. Accident ho gaya, le jao. Kittens mar rahi hai, le jao - hum phek denge. Yeh strays hai, humari cats nhi hai..

So so many cases over the years, many of them could have been avoided.

This month has been really bad for the strays and for us as well.

3 Kittens from 2 areas are now in our hands.

Pimpi is one of them.

One of the residents claimed to be taking care of him. When she showed us the kitten, we told her that we will get him fostered and adopted but she refused. She seemed like a nice woman, fed the stray dogs around her house. We told her to keep him inside the house and not let the dogs anywhere near the kitten. She was arrogant and told us the dogs don't do anything to the kitten.

We were adamant and told her these dogs are not cat friendly and they will attack the kitten.

She agreed.

And now we got the call, she let the kitten outside. Dogs have attacked him, he is paralyzed from his waist.

Told her to take the kitten to the vet immediately.

NO. I CAN'T. That's it. That was the answer.

Upasana di of course can never ignore an animal in need.

She immediately booked a pet taxi to drop the kitten at CESSNA hospital in Gurgaon.

The kitten is being treated. Every test is being done. The vet is saying, he has to be observed for 3 days to determine if the kitten can walk again or not.

There is movement in one leg but not the other.

The estimate for 3 days is around 25,000rs. We don't know how much more we have to pay for the treatment.

I'm here to plead. Please PLEASE help us raise some amount for the treatment of these kittens (I'll post the story of the other kittens in the comment).

Atleast enough to cover the treatment for these 3 days.

We are so behind on our payments. We had to stop the feeding rounds to pay for some of the treatments. Our food bill alone is over 75k.

But I'm here to raise funds for PIMPI

Please please share this, comment and upvote the post for more visibility.

Please consider donating towards his treatment.

Any amount towards his treatment would be much appreciated.

URGENT: NEED YOUR HELP DELHI PEOPLE - very very urgent

Guys, this is urgent.

Anyone who lives near this address or if you know someone who is nearby this address, can you please check on this cat.

She received a dm with no information or address. She gave the address way too late and we don't know if the cat is alive or not. But we want to give help if it's still alive. The condition is very critical so euthanizing would be the best option but we don't want the cat to suffer alone in the street.

The person who received the dm has a very small baby and lives way too far from this location. She is willing to pay for any expenses related to this rescue

If you can help, please do🙏🙏🙏
