I am confused as to which one is legitimate website.

Can you advise?

I haven't logged onto my Kraken exchange account for ages. But this morning I see that I can buy Nvidia on the platform.

Im based in Thailand and a tax citizen there. But Im from a Western country (non U.S) and did KYC using that passport

Questions:

1. If buy and hold for ages and make gains and sell.... Do I have to technically pay taxes via Kraken or just do it on my Thai tax return?

2. If I buy Nvidia, for example, am I actually getting an IOU for the stock via Kraken. Or what am I holding? Im asking bc I recently read about investors buying 'paper' gold rather than physical gold. Is the same thing happening here with buying Nvidia on a crypto exchange as opposed to buying it at Blackrock, for example.

3. If I have btc in my kraken wallet can I buy directly with this?

Its been reported in the Bangkok post an article entitled 'University to be grilled over dodgy degree' dated 6th May. A google search will retrieve it immediately.

The premise of the article is that The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) said it will question representatives of Nation University following a petition that the latter's dentistry degree has never been endorsed by the Dental Council of Thailand.

Its unfair for the students and their wealthy parents who paid for their kids to study at that university thinking their child would obtain a dental license on graduation. The university in question should be giving huge compensation to the students.

What an embarressment for Thailand. The Dental Council should be reviewing the other private universities that are chuning out the dentistry graduates left, right and centre. Is their curriculum any better???

Personally I would be careful taking treatment from a young dentist in their 20's. Only opt for treatment from dentists who graduated from government universities. I only use dentits aged in late 30s and 40s

A que for any long term oz expats living in the LOS.... Do you keep your oz bank accounts or not?

I logged onto my bank acc in oz and its asking me to update my residency status. I would have to give my thai tax number and address here. It seems a bit weird to give this.

Ive had a WP here for 5 yrs and paying taxes. I asked in 2 x A.I models and it says theres a dual tax arrangement between oz and Thailand and the tax authorities there are not interested in my thai income at all. I am under no obligation to report my thai income to them as a non resident of oz for tax purposes (reported 10 yrs ago)

Therefore no issues in giving my thai tax id at all. I also reported July last year that it was my final tax return in oz. Therefore I think I need to update the bank and change the record stating that Im a non resident of oz. Otherwise the CRS records will be conflicting and raise red flag

Do you agree with this? What do you do with your oz bank accounts whilst living in Thailand?
