Bruntsfield Primary Vs Tollcross Primary

We are currently renting in the catchment for Bruntsfield Primary (feeds into Boroughmuir High School). We've found a flat that we would like to buy but it is in the catchment for Tollcross Primary (feeds James Gillespie). We have one daughter age 5 who joined bruntsfield primary at the end of the last term, and two younger daughters age 3 and 1 who are in nursery.

Should we do our best to stay at Bruntsfield, or move to Tollcross? We have gotten a great vibe from Bruntsfield, would love to hear from anyone with experience at Tollcross. We will need wrap around care after school so that is a factor as well

Starting fresh on toys

We are moving back to the UK after many years overseas. We are doing our best to move with just suitcases, so are selling and giving away almost everything we own.

We have three girls, age 5, 3 and 10 months. We will of course bring toys to which they are attached (a few stuffies, dress up clothes), but most of the toys we have at home are pretty generic and aren't particularly loved. We're eager to invest in a few high quality toys that will last for a long time, and ideally which can be found second hand.

So, if you could start again from zero, which toys would you invest in? I'm thinking staples like magnet tiles, play kitchens, etc - what did your kids play with for ages, and really engage with?
