some of my watercolours showing (my attempt at portraying) the One Power.
All watercolour on cotton paper.
I’ve been busy with commissions and life stuff recently and haven’t had time to work on WoT related art, but I’m hoping to get time to paint some updated cityscapes in the near future.
ETA: Thanks everyone for your kind comments - I'm glad that the cities were (mostly) identifiable! Quick answers to the questions I've seen in the comments: commissions are currently open (WoT or otherwise). Best way to reach me is Instagram - '@wot.fanart'. I'm slow to see Reddit DMs (mobile is a pain), so Insta is your best bet to get in touch. I'm setting up prints of the most-requested pieces, follow on Insta and I'll post when they're live. A limited selection of originals are currently on sale too, first come first served, announced there. Thanks, A.
Here are some older pieces showing the major cities.

Treated myself to some new colours at Maison Sennelier in Paris and had to put them to use - obsessed with their caput mortuum (pr101)
The map shows the phases of Under in the inner ring and the phases of the Parent (as seen from Axis) in the outer.
The difference in flora and fauna across the Dayline is huge, the same niches filled by very different organisms. This is driven by the influence of the Parent on the Shadowside, adding light but little heat.
The Shadowside is eclipsed by the Parent for 1/6th of its orbit, cooling Shadowside below freezing for a part of the Day.
The Shadowline divides the ecology of Under into two halves, encapsulated by the phrase ‘Sun for sustenance, shadow for spice’ and the world’s geopolitics is shaped by the flow of staples inland and luxuries outland, with empires and conglomerates jostling for power along the main trade routes running from pole (Axis) to Antipole (Counter).
Under, the world I'm developing at the moment, is a tidally locked moon in orbit of a gas giant called the Parent. One hemisphere of Under, the Shadowside, always faces the Parent while the opposite hemisphere the Dayside, always faces away. Over Under's uncountably long history the reflected light from the Parent has caused a divergence in Under's flora and fauna on opposite sides of the terminator.
The Underians have a saying, 'Sun for Sustenance but Shadow for spice' meaning that while the fields of Dayside are essential for food production the exotic flora which grows on the Shadowside add flavour to every meal and are just as important.
Axis, the city eternal which houses the Pantheon of the Gods at its heart, is located at the pole of the Shadowside, pointing directly at the Parent. Hence the phrase, Axis turns around the Parent and the world turns around Axis, but everything turns around the Pantheon.
This is a global map and I haven't mapped out much beyond the basic geography at present beyond Axis but looking forward to developing it.
On the world of Under, a tidally locked moon orbiting its gas giant Parent, the Gods are an undeniable reality of day to day life. Their incredible powers have been harnessed by human Avatars, the chosen acolytes of the churches who wear the masks of the Gods and keep the populace safe from Their eyes.
The churches which developed around the Gods are a significant power, and although many older people complain about increasing secularism and obsession with wealth destroying society the truth is that tradition and habit still rule the hearts of the people.
I'm currently developing a story about the role of the Avatars on Under and am creating these infographics to bring the world to life. This one is an in-world overview of the Gods and Their Avatars, showing how the Gods have been explained to the populace.
an experiment with tone and limited colours (phthalo blue/r, quin coral, sennelier yellow PY153 with some quin and burnt sienna).

Trying to convey the scale of the Stone of Tear with some funky angles in this panoramic view In watercolour and ink.
I’ve probably gone overboard with the size of the ancient fortress but I always pictured it as towering over the city in my head.
Soldiers watch on as a circle of channellers take on one of the Shadow's armies outside of Cairhien.
Mixed gender circles had not been used in the 3,000 plus years since the Breaking, making circles of this strength (14 Aes Sedai and 13 Asha'man) impossible until very recently.
The circle was led by Androl, adding the strength of 26 other channellers to his own so that he could use his innate Talent for weaves of Travelling to open immense gateways, one after the other, between the heart of distant Dragonmount and the Trolloc armies attacking the forces of the Light outside of Carihien.
