I’m new to pc gaming, my first ever pc. Not sure what the hell im doing, feel free to dm me. My latest and greatest issue is I can’t get the keyboard to pop and as a result can’t type anything
Looking to get a steam deck as I’m a console player really fucking tired of Larian’s console mod approval system (I understand it has to do with Xbox and ps too) how good are they for mods and how many mods I can run from the mod manager. Is it easy to run mods from the official mod manager and how good is the performance. I don’t know much about pcs and am looking for an affordable option where I can play moderately to somewhat heavily modded bg3 without extreme lag or performance issues
I notice sometimes they quietly do console mod updates, is there a way to know as I don’t see them announced all too much?

Please do not spread hate to any modders or Larians test team. The purpose of my post is to bring attention to the inconsistency of it and ask how mod authors feel about it. I love hearing what the talented modders think as I know some of them make mods specifically with console in mind :). Let me know what the approval process has been for yall. Super sad we didn’t get mods today and it looks like they might skip a week again, heartbreaking. 💔
8 Wildheart Barbarian (for feral instinct initiative)
9/3 split with battle master fighter ideally for extra damage superiority die but any other spread is ok too long as you get at least two feats
Bearheart for resistances and end rage healing, Aspect of the Elk for extra movement + unarmored movement.
3 Battlemaster fighter
Trip attack, Disarming attack and Riposte (the build is relatively low AC as it focuses more on tanking with bear heart and in act 3 the bone spike garb, feel free to use feinting attack or menacing attack if you don’t like riposte)
Feats GWM and ASI strength with everlasting potion and hag hair, Fighting style GWF or use ASI with Dex or Con if you’re using hill giant potions.
Gear
Act 1 : Infernal Robe or Bloodguzzler garb, cap of wrath, caustic band, crushers ring, brood mother’s revenge (stays on through whole game), bracers of defense, Disintegrating Nightwalkers or Linebreaker Boots, bow of awareness & of course the faithbreaker 🔨❤️
Act 2 : Enraging heart garb (I use a mod that fixes it, if you don’t it’s still good for the conn but if you still don’t like that a good alternative is the graceful or mighty cloth, Callous Glow Ring, Crushers ring stays, titan string bow, Dark Justicier Gauntlets.
Act 3 : Bonespike Garb, Bonespike boots, The Corpsegrinder, Helldusk Gloves, Bonespike Helmet.
I’m aware the build isn’t fully optimized but I quite like it, feel free to try it just thought I would share since I’ve been posting my run periodically, tell me what you think!
Hey yall, you’ve probably seen my posts as of recent glazing my favorite modder u/exaen. He is the talented and amazing author of the evolved series & actually infernal rapier. I have noticed with several of his mods, and ones by other some authors are getting their mods released to console on the older and or incomplete versions. For example Flind evolved was FINALLY released on console two weeks ago and advertised in the desc about the evolved pack (the moonrise gnolls and caravan hyena), all being part of the 2.0 version of Flind Evolved! I waited 7+ months for the mod on console only to find out in act 2 once I tried to talk to barnabus that the mod was released in its outdated version and most of the fun new features exaen put all that work into were not there. It’s also apparent that some of the other mods in his evolved series are outdated and certain class mods from other authors suffer the same issue. I want to make clear that IN NO WAY do I blame the modders, they are amazing at their craft and we are beyond lucky to have them. However I did want to point out that we’re getting often worse versions of their amazing work due to either poor testing or console specific issues. Hopefully we get mod updates soon, lots of love to the modders and Larian’s test team for making console mods possible ❤️
Tell me if yall want me to do a more complete goblin leaders series, im just kind of figuring out a way to do it on console as to not crash my game and corrupt the save as the last few times I tried to play as my favorite characters 😢❤️
As our goblin leaders get ever closer to freeing themselves from the worms in their heads, the uneasy alliance they once shared first in service of the absolute and now in a vow of sworn enmity against it has grown ever stronger.
I’m really enjoying rewriting the story of the goblin leaders tbh, giving them the love they deserve.
