Plantar fasciitis / fibroma treatment?

I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis and another condition called plantar fibromatosis, which involves excess scar tissue growth in the plantar fascia of the feet in response to traumatic injury. It is a genetic condition, thought to be related to a similar condition in the palmar fascia of the hands called Dupuytren's Contracture. Dealt with it 5 years. Physical therapy has helped somewhat.

I deal with occasionally mild internal swelling and lingering pain in that foot that I'm thinking acupuncture could help with.

Because of my condition, needles directly in the plantar fascia is risky, because it could trigger fibromatosis scar tissue growth. This genetic condition is triggered by direct physical trauma generally.

Could acupuncture for treating chronic swelling and lingering pain in the foot work if the acupuncturist wasn't able to directly insert needles in the plantar fascia of the foot?

Where can I get an MRI with cash and no referral?

My health insurance takes forever to approve anything. I've been waiting over a month for a referral approval for example.

I figure paying cash might be faster to get an MRI and answers to my medical issues, and that I can have it ready when I finally get my approval for a specialist.

Are there imaging centers in the LA County Area that provide MRI without referral and outside of insurance?

My catalytic converter was stolen recently. I need to take it to a mechanic to get it looked at. Debating if I should tow it since it is only a 15 minute drive. Unsure how Pasadena PD and San Marino PD tolerate that though. I have a police report receipt from my local PD ( not Pasadena or SM) where they documented it was stolen from my car.
