Recommending a Garmin device
Hello all! Like so many users I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the options regarding Garmin devices. It feels like most of them can do what I need them from, so I wanted to ask you for some advice and recommendations.
I have been a proud user of Fitbit for more than 10 years, but Google health update may have killed it for me. Further, my Inspire 3 battery is starting to struggle after more than 3 years.
The precise use I would give it would be:
-General wellbeing. Tracking steps, heart rate and sleep. I do not need fancy analysis, just basic graphs and good definition of my heart rate zones, resting HR.... I kind of like the "cardio load" analysis that Fitbit does, as a way to compare efforts from week to week.
- I run, nothing crazy, I won't call myself a runner. Considering running more and longer distances though - Have done only a pair of 10k
-Gym workouts. No need to track specific body parts, but if somehow I can do this - e.g. using the app or linking services - that's nice. With my Fitbit, this is just setting exercise? strength training, and that's enough for me.
-swimming - this may have been the killer reason for me, as google health has completely screwed this for many Fitbit users. I swim for 1 km and the tracker says only 25 meters.
Thank you for your time and expertise!
