Devices connect to network but have no connection to the internet

Has anyone else encountered this problem and been able to resolve it?

Ever since we got QF last year we have been stuck in a loop where devices will be connected to our network but lose their connection to the internet. The only way to resolve the issue is to perform a reset on the 360 wifi pod after which most or all of the devices will then have an internet connection. It sometimes takes several attempts to get everything back online and often this has to be done daily.

There are currently around 40 to 42 devices on our wifi network. The devices most affected by this are (but are not limited to) our Pixel phones (8 Pro XL and 9 Pro XL) various Amazon Echo devices, Google Nest devices and Window computers. It will occasionally affect iPads, Pixel tablet, e-ink devices or wifi smart plugs. Restarting the devices themselves does not help.

This affects both wifi and ethernet connections. When my Windows 11 laptop will not connect via wifi, I've plugged it into the LAN port on the pod and it will still not reach the internet. Only wiring it directly to the LAN port on the NID will give it internet access, at least until the pod is reset.

At this point we are only using the primary pod just to be able to better identify the source of the problems.

We are on pod number 3 and things are incrementally better. With pod number 2, the app would often show that there were no pods connected to the NID when there actually were, or it would show the pods as being connected but would say that no devices were connected to the pod, when there obviously were.

Part of me wants to buy my own router but the other part of me wants to make QF keep sending me pods until things finally work.

If you have had this same problem and were able to resolve it while still using the QF wifi pod, I'd be interested in knowing what you did.

Will just about any decent router work with QF or are there any that work particularly well?
