Getting the +30 salary differential ASAP
Hi everyone, I am currently working on getting my +30 asap. To do so, I have been grinding my way through Teach n Kids Learn courses, which have been ridiculously easy. If I wasn't locked behind a 12 credit limit, I would have done it all a semester ago, but as is I have just done 9 credits in fall and another 12 in Spring.
The fast track semester in Teach n Kids Learn starts June 1st. However, I got an email saying registration only opens for ASPDP on June 8th.
Questions:
1: If I register for the teach n kids fast track courses on June 1st, complete them before June 8th, and then register on ASPDP for the same courses, can I get the certificates right away? Or do I have to wait until June 8th to register on ASPDP before registering for the fast track courses?
2: Can I get the certificates and submit them for the +30 salary differential immediately as I get them? Will I be able to get the raise earlier, or do I have to wait until the end of the semester? (e.g. I complete my last teach n kids learn course on June 14th, get my certificate/transcript/whatever the DoE needs, and submit my application for +30 on June 15th. Will I get retroactive pay starting from June 15th?)
I am mostly trying to figure out whether it is worth finishing everything ASAP or if it won't make a difference and I can take my sweet time. The earlier I can get my raise the better. Thank you!
