Public Service Post Two: The Battering Ram

The bridge I am working on takes a lot of material. And while I was underwhelmed by the ram as a means of sieging charred fortresses, it is great for speeding up material collection.

The hit box can be a little wonky, but when the Trollstav meteor doesn't work, this is a great option.

Public Service Post One: Fins of Destiny

I have been searching for new tar pits as part of my bridge build, and I have to say, these things are legitimately great for exploring.

Hello,

Before I went insane and tried to build a bridge across the ocean, I had been working on an island portal hub project

I recently upgraded it with a bell tower/light house I am proud of. Enjoy!

The bottom floors of the tower aren't finished yet, but I like how it is coming together.

I have been trying to build a bridge to the next continent out the back of my base. I encountered water that was simply too deep to raise the earth in. But sometimes, you just have to scuba.

He has appeared in this general location numerous times. On one occasion he appeared twice in the same night. I don't think I've ever observed that before.

Perhaps I should build something here.

Hello!

I recently completed a new PC build for my upstairs living room. This is my first time building in the console style cases, as the previous build was a ITX Wesena case with a picoPSU.

I picked up the 12.75L Thor Zone Tetra-R for this build with the chrome color center bar and feet. Everything came packaged extremely well.

For the build I used:

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

ASUS Strix B650E-I Motherboard

Powercolor Hellhound RX 9070XT

Corsair SF1000 SFX PSU

Thermalright AXP120-X67 CPU cooler.

Both the CPU cooler and the case fan are the Noctua NF-A12x15

Crucial DDR5 2x16 GB 6000MHz Expo.

So the build actually went together pretty well with the manual found on the Thor Zone website. I did run into an issue while doing the build however. I had Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM already available when I purchased these parts, I'd had it since before the price hikes. I chose the Thermalright AXP120-X67 cooler because it was compatible with the case per Thor Zone and compatible with any RAM height. However, those two things are not true when combined.

The Thor Zone tetra routes the power cable from the PSU through the back of the case with a clip in plug. The plug prevents the AXP120-X67 from being turned with the heat pipes over the IO shield. It only fits with the cooler oriented over the RAM, which means I was limited to 42mm on height for RAM.

Thankfully, I had shorter RAM in a different system, and I was able to swap the two sets. But for anyone considering this case/cooler combo, know that you won't be able the flip the Thermalright AXP120-X67 to accommodate taller RAM.

System is running now and I have started to do some testing on it.
