New to Handbrake; What's y'all's CQ setting for AV1 encoding 480p video? Don't want to lose quality, but also don't want bloated file sizes. Encoding with a 9070 XT.

(STKR8000400) Shuckable? Best value/TB for storage media in my region, looking to expand my home NAS. Anybody know anything about the drive inside?

Looking to expand my NAS by shucking the aforementioned external HDD, but I haven't found any info on the actual drive inside.

New to TrueNAS, any tips I should know? Loving it so far, but somewhat overwhelmed.

Hello everyone, recently I migrated my homelab over from Debian onto Truenas as it was doing too many things for me to manage over Debian's CLI. Immich personal cloud storage, a few SMB shares, reverse proxy, and of course the obligatory Minecraft server. I'm loving it so far, but is there anything specific a newcomer should know? Coming from a system with zero useful management or administrative tools has given me option paralysis of sorts, as there's just so many tools built into the system.

Polished software stack for NAS?

I've been using mdadm+Samba+Tailscale for RAID and remote file access, as well as Cockpit for remote management, but it all feels a little clunky. Are there any containers or services to add user-friendliness to my NAS, or am I just being picky?

Strange, repeatable misfire behavior on a '11 3.7? NOT plugs, fueling, or VCT.

When driving "spiritedly" (>3000rpm) at low to medium load, my 3.7 will eventually go into limp mode with codes for a random misfire, as well as a misfire on cylinders 1 and 5. This will not happen during a pull (at least not during a shorter one), as I can do runs up to 140 without missing a beat. This only happens during low to mid-load, such as spirited driving on a curvy mountain road. The car has its upstream O2s intact, fresh spark plugs, and fueling is OK. Mods are a pair of BBK catless long tubes, a Pypes Offroad X-pipe, and an Airaid CAI. Rest of the motor is stock, and I believe the tune is stock. Under normal driving, it doesn't miss a beat, and returning to driving normally after it starts acting up will very quickly bring it back out of limp mode. Any ideas? Not being able to have fun in my fun car is getting pretty annoying.

Deciding between a 7700 XT, 9060 XT 16GB, or something else. I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5500 to a 7600X, so of course my then-well paired 6600 XT is getting wrung out now. I'd prefer AMD but are there any cards I'm missing? I play on a 1080p, 180Hz monitor, mainly games like Arc Raiders, the Dead Space remake, and Rainbow Siege. Recommendations?
