I was not allowed to fill exam forms for my odd semester because of short attendance since 1st sem.

So I have cleared all semesters till 6th sem except sem 5.

According to University rules I will give 5th sem in 2027 and I'm not allowed to attend 7th semester classes or give exams for that in 2027 along with my batchmates (2023)

I will only be allowed to sit for the 7th semester exam in 2028 and then the 8th semester in the same year. My graduation degree is getting delayed for 1 year

The university has announced special suppli exams for back students who had filled the form of 5th sem but failed in the exam.I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING US AS WELL CUS IF EXAMS ARE BEING CONDUCTED WHY NOT ALLOW EVERYONE.

Can anything be done about debarred students so they don't lose 1 year? It plays a very crucial role in our career, we have tried talking to the University officials but they are not saying anything clearly.

70+ students were debarred in my batch due to short attendance in the 1st sem itself, many of which have taken exit in 6th sem without honours or have dropped out

while a large majority of them still remain, it is very discouraging for students who want to get a proper education..

For me personally, I had attended classes but I got admission mid semester so they didn't count 50% of my attendance even after constant negotiation they didn't allow us to even fill the exam forms even when I had health certificates attached for the period I was absent.
