1958 1 Cent - 3.18 grams?

A workmate had a whole mint roll and gave me one. I came home, weighed it, then double checked the calibration, weighed another penny, then weighed it again and still get 3.18. What could be going on here? Should I just submit it to pcgs? Curious what the hive mind says. Thanks.

Does it look healthy and trimmed properly?

She is about 18 years old and while having the cedar siding fixed and painted the contractors were really rough. It seems just about every day I would see broken limbs laying around and even one day I walked into an argument between two of them, one was really upset with the other over the lack of consideration.
