Considering getting a high mileage 2016 Suburban

Found this Suburban for 6k with 315k miles, transmission replaced 10k miles ago. If I reserve $10-12k for maintenance/engine replacement to be all in for 16-18k, sounds like a good deal for me. Am I missing anything? Thanks

TileForeman update — succesfully closed beta stage.

[Not promoting] Mostly posting to say thanks. This sub has been a huge part of building it. The two-thinset thing for Ditra installations, the niche pricing logic, the waterproofing-under-heated-floors clarification — all came from conversations with other pros here. Appreciate every one of you who chimed in on the previous posts or DM'd feedback.

As some of you know from my previous posts here, I've been building TileForeman over the last few months. Wanted to share where I'm at since a lot of feedback came from this sub.

Closed beta yesterday. Most users are solo tile guys with a few small crews.

The whole thing was built around the stuff that drove me crazy, I believe I've solved most of them...

Right now it does:

1.Estimate building with real tile zones (shower pan, walls, niches, vanity, floor — not generic "rooms")

2.AI material lists that respect trade rules (waterproofing only in shower zones, not under heated floors, etc.)

3.PDF plan markup — upload the architect's plan, calibrate scale, click to measure, pull into estimate

4.Dry layout calculator

5.Receipt capture, mileage from job addresses, job timeline view

6.Works mobile-first, so it's actually usable on the jobsite

Still missing: QuickBooks integration, multi-crew features, direct payments. All on the roadmap.
