finally got my sayaka

hey folks. I’m new here and about a month into the Matcha obsession. I already own half the MK catalog. Love all of it, including the low caffeine, which is just as lovely as everything else. My current MK favorite is the Shohaku. last week, I was finally able to get my hands on the Ippodo Sayaka, and was fully prepared for it not to live up to the hype. But I love it. It’s naturally sweet and smooth and floral and beautiful and wonderful in every way. tonight I decided to use a funky flute shaped glass bc this stuff is more precious than champagne.

noun flashcards have no article

buongiorno a tutti! i’m new here. I’ve been doing Duolingo Italian for 50 days. decades ago, I studied French long enough to be fluent, so I know the gender of french nouns. we spent a long time learning that stuff in school. I wonder why the articles aren’t included with nouns on the flashcards. “park” should force you to say “il parco” and “bank” should force you to answer “la banca”. But they don’t. You just have to use the word without the article. seems problematic to me. If we’re not practicing learning what gender each noun is then how are we gonna ever get our adjective agreements correct? that is the area I am making the mistakes most mistake mistakes in. what do you think, ragazzi?
