I'm a 40-year-old ex-raver who's been going to festivals for decades. I've spent the last few months building Alan! — an app designed to solve three problems I've personally experienced at literally every festival I've ever been to.
After all these years, I realized these problems never go away. So I decided to build something to fix them.
**The Problems:**
You pitch your tent, head to the stage, and 6 hours later you have absolutely no idea where your tent is. You're wandering around like you've never been to a festival before.
Your friends get separated in the crowd. You can't see them. They can't see you. You're all standing in the same field but completely invisible to each other.
You're 10 metres away from your friends but in a packed crowd. You're lost, they can't find you, and you're both frustrated.

I'm releasing this for free on Android and at a minimal cost on iOS because I genuinely want real feedback from real festival-goers — people like me who've been doing this for decades. I want to know what works, what doesn't, what features you'd add, what's broken, what's confusing — everything.
This is a real product built to solve real problems that I've faced countless times over the years. I'm not trying to make a fortune here. I'm trying to build something that actually helps people have a better festival experience, whether they're 20 or 50.
