Hiding stuff under nipple covers

So random but hiding stuff under this sounds like an amazing idea for getting past security and searches? Opinions?

Merci beaucoup.

Find my friend

I’m going to bass with a pretty big group this year and I’m trying to figure out the best way to keep track of everyone. Has anyone ever used AirTags? I can’t remember what service was like last year but I like how the AirTags have the precision tracking.

Can anyone let me know if you’ve ever used AirTags and if you would recommend it or not. Im also looking for any other suggestions if anyone’s tried anything that’s worked!

I built Alan! — a festival app to solve the three biggest problems at festivals. It's free on Android, 99p on iOS. Looking for real feedback to improve it.

Hey r/festivals,

I'm a 40-year-old ex-raver who's been going to festivals for decades. I've spent the last few months building Alan! — an app designed to solve three problems I've personally experienced at literally every festival I've ever been to.

After all these years, I realized these problems never go away. So I decided to build something to fix them.

**The Problems:**

  1. You pitch your tent, head to the stage, and 6 hours later you have absolutely no idea where your tent is. You're wandering around like you've never been to a festival before.

  2. Your friends get separated in the crowd. You can't see them. They can't see you. You're all standing in the same field but completely invisible to each other.

  3. You're 10 metres away from your friends but in a packed crowd. You're lost, they can't find you, and you're both frustrated.

**The Solution:**

Alan! has three core features:

🏕️ **Find Your Tent** — Pin your tent location with GPS. Navigate back anytime, even if you have no cell service.

👥 **Find Your Friends** — See exactly where your crew is on a map in real-time. Reunite instantly.

🔦 **Find Them in the Crowd** — Tap the strobe button. Your phone flashes. They see the light. You reunite in seconds.

**Privacy First:**

- You only share location with friends you trust

- Turn off sharing anytime

- Works completely offline

- No ads, no tracking, no selling your data

**Pricing:**

- **Android:** Free

- **iOS:** 99p

**Why I'm Asking for Feedback:**

I'm releasing this for free on Android and at a minimal cost on iOS because I genuinely want real feedback from real festival-goers — people like me who've been doing this for decades. I want to know what works, what doesn't, what features you'd add, what's broken, what's confusing — everything.

This is a real product built to solve real problems that I've faced countless times over the years. I'm not trying to make a fortune here. I'm trying to build something that actually helps people have a better festival experience, whether they're 20 or 50.

**Download and Try It:**

If you're heading to a festival soon, please download Alan! and give it a shot. Use it. Break it. Tell me what's wrong. Tell me what's right. Tell me what you'd change.

I'm here to answer questions and read every piece of feedback you give me.

Thanks for checking it out!

I made an Event & Festival Directory

Hey all, I created a directory where you can find and submit events.
This one is built different that all other directories that I know - it lets you filter by proximity, filter by event type, genre or look for a specific artist (!), and see if any of your friends are already going - all in one place. You can also click an artist or DJ name to check their discography or if they're playing or any other events!
Check it out here: https://psychill.space/events
I would love to hear your feedback or suggestions.

Just launched Burnie: A free, private UV index & sunscreen countdown timer for iOS with zero ads or tracking [Free]

Hey r/iOSApps community,

Quick summary of the app based on the sub rules:
* A – Answer: Solves sunscreen guesswork by calculating a dynamic UV-based protection countdown using the Monk skin scale.
* B – Better: Privacy-first (no tracking/no ads), uses a clean Bento-grid UI instead of medical fear tactics, and features an advanced non-linear degradation formula.
* C – Cost: Completely Free (no ads, no IAPs). Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/burnie-smart-uv-protection/id6770673915

***

I just flipped the switch on Burnie. I built this side project because I constantly find myself getting sunburned, and after seeing skin cancer impact my own family, I wanted to stop guessing with sun safety. I wanted to build something straightforward that provides actual scientific guidance based on live UV data.

The app checks your local UV index, maps it against your skin profile using the scientific Monk Scale, and runs a real-time protection countdown the moment you log your sunscreen application.

Behind the scenes on how the math works:
The countdown isn't just a simple, linear timer. It uses a fine-tuned calculation that assumes your sunscreen degrades dynamically over time based on actual UV exposure levels. I also built in a conservative safety margin to automatically account for natural wear and tear from clothes, sweating, or moving around.

A few intentional choices I made while building it:

* Privacy First: It is built natively on iOS 17 with SwiftData. Absolutely everything stays entirely local on your device. There is no user registration, no data collection, and no ad networks. It doesn't track your location; it merely uses your current coordinates locally to fetch the exact UV data.
* Clean UI: I deliberately avoided scary medical charts or fear-based warnings. Instead, it uses a clean Bento-grid layout with an ambient background that shows your current shield status at a quick glance.
* Smart Nudges: It sends lightweight local notifications exactly when your calculated protection layer degrades under your current local UV conditions.

The app is completely free to download. I am just trying to get the name out there right now and grab some real-world feedback from fellow builders.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the design or the countdown system!

Starting a diy festival any advice?

So currently I'm 16 and about to enter my senior year in high school and for one of my passion projects I thought it would be a nice idea to mix my passion for climate change and music and make it into a music festival where the money raised from tickets would be donated towards projects related to cleaning up oceans (like the ocean clean up). And currently I want to have the festival sometime in August of 2027. Where that would be my last month before going off to college and currently. I have a few things I've taken into consideration.

For the budget, I plan on getting sponsorships. However, any advice as to how I can accrue a budget for this festival (at an already established venue (would be greatly appreciated!)

I have a few other things I've planned out and tried planning out. However, for the sake of this post I won't type everything down but just in general. Any advice or things that I should consider or do would be greatly appreciated!

Shirt idea for a local festival

Alright long story short I was posted on an "are we dating the same guy" Facebook page by a scorned ex. 90% of it was outright lies, but that's besides the point. Would it be funny or offensive if I got a custom shirt that said "As previously seen on are we dating the same guy". Thoughts?

BELTS and Harnesses

Hey I’m looking for the Berlin mega thread and I guess I’m too thick to find it - but - I’m going to Berlin, Plovdiv and Cluj. I decided to buy an O RING waste belt to attach my concert needs and go hands free. But PHILGOOD does not allow “chain belts, wrapped belts, and spiked belts” I live in NYC where harnesses are as common as pants so it didn’t occur to me that this mights be an issue. Has anyone been to Wuhlheide who can advise?

Vervanger 4fmp

English below.

Thnx.

I’m looking for experiences/advice from a harm reduction perspective.

I used to take XTC/MDMA at festivals, but at some point the comedowns became so bad that I would often feel genuinely sick on Monday/Tuesday. That’s why I stopped taking it. After that, I switched to 4-FMP/4-FA. I actually liked that better in terms of energy: still very energetic and social, but less spaced-out/hallucinogenic than MDMA. However, 4-FMP doesn’t really seem to be available anymore?

The last time I tried “meow”/mephedrone, but the feeling was a bit disappointing and I still had a fairly noticeable comedown. I’ve also considered pure MDMA, but since XTC/MDMA used to give me those heavy Tuesday crashes, I’m not sure whether that would be a smart idea.

Important detail: we don’t snort anything. If we take something, it’s oral/in capsules. So I’m mainly interested in experiences with substances that are taken orally and come somewhat close to the 4-FMP profile: energetic, social, clear-headed, not too spaced-out, and ideally with a less severe comedown than MDMA.

I’m explicitly not looking for sources or sourcing. Only experiences, risks, harm-reduction tips, and whether there is even a realistic “4-FMP replacement,” or whether I should just accept that this combination of effects can’t really be replaced in a safe/consistent way.

What would you consider or avoid in my situation?

Thanks.

Wedding Festival Ideas

Hey fellow festival folks!

My fiancé and I decided to elope with just our small friend group and throw them a ripping party in the woods for our wedding. We've rented a very remote, private property in the woods with river access. I'm wondering if y'all have any ideas we could be missing from our setup?

So far we plan to rent generators and make sure there's lights everywhere electric forest style.

We will be putting together a "club tent" with lights, fog machine, blow up couches, etc. My friend will be DJing.

We're also making a large cozy/hang tent with a blow up pool full of blankets, nostalgic toys, etc.

There will also be a (safe) zipline, wood fired sauna, inflatable hot tub, hammocks, a swurfer, and large paper mache versions of our cats with light up eyes.

My biggest concern is figuring out a menu for the event (we'll have a blackstone), but does anyone here have any tips, tricks, or suggestions for other things we could snag off Facebook marketplace to up the magic for our guests?

Thank you so much!

First Time Festival

Going to a rave or music festival has always been on my bucket list. I enjoy all kinds of music, even though I don't really listen to EDM, and I'd love to experience a festival at least once. I'm in the Southeast, but I'm open to traveling anywhere in the U.S. for the right one.
I'm looking for the full festival experience, camping, dressing up, exploring art, meeting new people, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Since I'm new to this scene, I'd love recommendations for festivals with a great vibe, plenty to do beyond the music, and an overall welcoming community. I’m pretty open-minded and mostly just want an unforgettable experience that I can say I’ve had!

Bonus points for festival locations with shade lol.

Is this really 2cb?

My friends and I took some supposed 22 mg 2C-B pills yesterday, but the experience was absolutely insane. One of my friends saw mushrooms growing out of the ground, everything was extremely colorful, and it felt like our bodies were kind of liquid. We were expecting something completely different.
Has anyone come across pills like these before or knows what might actually have been in them? Thanks!
