I'm waiting for my second Work Holiday VISA to arrive in the post (already approved) but my SIN expires on 16th August and I am currently employed. Can I extend my SIN with the information letter stating my permit has been approved and the document code for my new work permit? I've looked online and it states I need a physical document to update my SIN.

My current IEC VISA expires Aug 16, 2026. I received approval for my second IEC earlier this month and since then have requested for my new permit to be mailed as I meet all the 3 criteria.
I'm currently employed and my employer has extended my contract to align with my second VISA expiry date. If I don't receive my second IEC through the mail before my current VISA expiry date (Aug 16th) do I need to do anything?

I've received my correspondence letter for my second IEC and I am currently working in Canada with my SIN expiring on the same date as my first VISAs expiration. I am planning on leaving the country when my first VISA expires so when I re-enter I can start my second VISA, however in that period my SIN would not be valid. Is there a way of filling the gap so I don't have an invalid SIN? Or does it not matter with work?

Hi All! I've received my ITA for the IEC Work Holiday VISA, this will be my second VISA (I'm currently in Toronto on my initial 2 year Work Holiday VISA which expires this coming August). When it comes to documentation does anyone have experience with the Police Certificate? I have my UK police certificate from when I first applied back in 2024 but I can't see any definitive answer on whether I need a new certificate, either from the UK or Canada.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
