Polar king Freezer
We just purchased and received delivery of a larger 20x10 walk in freezer from Polar King. Since we fired it up one month ago we have the following issues:
short cycling - compressor and fan start up and run for a few seconds and then shut down. This occurs 5-6 times in a row and then stays on.
set point - the set point of -15 F is never achieved. Average temperature from temp stick positioned near evap room probe is -6F. Temperature logs show the temperature never exceeds -10F.
ice accumulation on evaporator coils - despite regular defrost cycles, the ice never goes away.
We had one warranty service tech make adjustments three days after delivery, however these issues are
Reoccurring and the unit simply doesn’t not work as it should.
Any thoughts?
