From Scanwatch 1 to Scanwatch 2, first impressions
After years of wearing a Scanwatch I have moved to the Scanwatch 2. After comparing both experiences, I have three complaints:
- The vibration on 2 is noticeably weaker, so I'm now missing some notifications.
- The Quick Look feature is much less responsive. Most times the display does not turn on when I flick my wrist or flex my arm.
- The new display fonts are nicer with uppercase/lowercase, but even with the higher resolution it's now more difficult to read messages if you are even slightly visually impaired and you're not wearing glasses at the moment, which is the case during my daily workout.
Also, may I suggest adding a NFC chip in Scanwatch 3 for payments? Maybe compatible with Google's or Samsung's Wallets.
Finally, as a heavy Withings user (I also own a Sleep Analyzer pad, a BPM Core cuff and recently a Body Smart scale), I'd like to see Catalan, my mother tongue, added to the list of languages supported in the devices and the mobile app.
