Do all mods see mod mail responses?
I’ve recently been made a mod of an inactive sub by u/modcodeofconduct along with three others who expressed interest. I responded to the “kick off” modmail chain u/modcodeofconduct posted in mod mail, but it’s been several days with no activity. (I responded as myself rather than as the sub.) Have the other mods been notified of my response, or am I shouting into a void? I’m trying to figure out how long to wait before I start taking actions that should probably be done as a group, since there’s more than one mod.

Best approach to prepping ground for future garden?
I’m not sure about the best approach to prepping this area (~200 sq. Ft.) for a butterfly garden:
Option 1: Cover with cardboard and chips, plant next year.
Option 2: Cover with cardboard no chips, wait for everything to die, remove cardboard, (and dead grass?) plant / cover with chips next year.
Option 3 ??
Option 1 is the least labor intensive, but I’m worried taking the easy route will make things harder later.
