An intriguing little story posted on Instagram in 3 parts (I combined them and added translations for the final part).

I don't know if it's also on Weibo or elsewhere, but my sources are: Duan Tongzhou - Instagram / Li You Cheng - Instagram

I keep getting this wrong on renshuu because the descriptions (in English, red and green) look the same to me, they're basically synonyms. I'm hoping someone could explain how these words are used differently in Japanese, either grammatically or contextually.
