Corsair support is not helpful
I submitted a ticket to corsair after buying the corsair scimitar elite wireless se
First day no response, second day 2 emails, today one email not addressing my issue, but thanking me for sending over the information. I ask to be escalated because I have been troubleshooting for 3 days. I get into a chat with a supervisor who let's me know that although their own chatbot has graciously helped me by feeding me false information, that my issue is a matter of difference in their slipstream connections. The scimitar elite pro only does a 1:1 set up but doesnt advertise any changes their bot says it will work with the components I have, googles ai sites corsairs website when telling me it should be possible and after I again list each peripheral I intend to use with multipoint, it tells me it cant understand why my connection set up is not working. I was told something to the extent of "this will be brought up to our marketing team." No response after that. I sat waiting patiently for my questions to be answered asking about what the next steps to take were, as I have no use for a wireless mouse that suffers from interference within its own ecosystem of peripherals from literally 7 feet away (its a living room set up). No answer chat went dark so I asked the bot again if the scimitar should work with multipoint, specifying again the exact model it is and am told "no it does not." So just to be sure I asked which mice are compatible with multpoint slip streaming, it told me that the scimitar elite wireless was, so I asked is there a difference between that scimitar and the one I own. It told me a couple of differences but then once again stated nothing about the multipoint slipstreaming being different. Just that it had slipstreaming on both that allowed connections between the mice and other peripherals.
Very frustrating. Please escalate me to a different supervisor, I reinstalled reddit for this because I think its wrong that im now stuck with a 139 dollar mouse and no clear answers. Ticket number (2008988386)
