nbs cubao stamp this weekend!

nbs cubao stamp this weekend!

just got this today at the philippine readers & writer's festival 2026 event at nbs cubao!

i asked if they're going to keep the stamp after the event but the lady said she wasn't sure. so just in case it's only this weekend, this is at the 3rd floor near the info booth ☺️

i finally gave myself permission to make the art i wanted

i got keri smith's 'pocket scavenger' 11 years ago but barely filled it up until i gave myself permission to be more flexible about the rules. i spent way too long letting myself be caged by the very prompts meant to inspire me instead 🥹

i've had the most fun filling this up with my new rules. i collect as many of the same type of item instead! ☺️

some prompts are also not to my taste, so i modify them as i go along 😗 now i've been slowly filling up the pages and actually been having fun! ✨️ here are some of the pages i've made the most progress on so far in the past ~3 months.

a howl-inspired scarf for the symphonic world of ghibli!

i got busy in july and forgot i had this concert coming up, so i only had 10 days to figure out what i was going to wear for the show.

I decided that since i'm currently blonde, i *had* to be Howl, right?! 🙂‍↕️ so i went through hundreds of howl photos, official merch, and cosplay creations and landed on my colors, ordered it all, and rushed this baby out in two days! ✨️ (my hands were very unhappy with me)

i couldn't find a pattern either, so i just looked for a diamond pixel grid, did some trial and error, and hoped for the best 😂 can't wait to wear this out when i return to autumn and winter travels! (i'm from a tropical country lol)

stamp collecting over the weekend

i've been collecting stamps for over a decade, but somehow never picked up a dedicated notebook until now 🙈

i got it to prepare for my upcoming japan trip, but i wanted to start it off with philippine stamps if i could– and i did! ☺️

i was on my way to fully booked high street, but it started raining (and i didnt have an umbrella) and i read online that the ink trail stamps were allegedly gone. BUT!! when i walked by fully booked glorietta just in case, i saw the stamp right there!! i was sooo happy 🤩 totally unexpected surprise!

my favorite stamp is the jeepney stamp from papemelroti though. it's so filipino and really solidifies these pages as my dedication to our country before i head out and use this notebook abroad 💚✨️

notebook: muji a6 slim

stamp locations:

  • muji central square

  • scribe megamall

  • papemelroti glorietta 1

  • fully booked glorietta 1

  • muji glorietta 3

  • craft central greenbelt 5

other stamps (personal collection):

  • taehyung stamp gifted by my friend (top left corner, left page)

  • korean name stamp from an old korea trip (bottom right corner, right page)

hooded scarves

hello!! first time posting here. i got really into crocheting last year (after years of not being super into it) and decided to make gifts for my parents.

so i made my mom and dad granny square hooded scarves for our family trip last winter. we live in a tropical country, so we dont usually own items like these~ i ended up hating the yarn i used, so i learned my lesson for next time 😅 a painful lesson for my first time but i persevered til i finished it all!

i forgot to take a photo of my dad's cause i didnt wanna touch the yarn anymore. I was also going to make one for myself too so we could match as a family, but decided to freehand this bunny-like hooded scarf instead ☺️
