sometimes all you need is a good cup of coffee and to journal for hours

Didn't feel like going home after work so what did I do? Went all the way to Makati to journal at a cafe once again. Great coffee, good vibes, friendly staff! The unique thing here for me is the public journal they had. Had a lot of fun reading everyone's entries and got to pour my heart out with my own entry as well. It felt cathartic and freeing and I wish some other spaces adapt something like this too.

What fountain pen would you recommend for beginners?

I've decided to jump into the rabbit hole. I've scoured the internet for general tips and tricks, as well as, brands of fountain pens. Two brands (well, actually three: Majohn) popped up, namely, Pilot Kakuno and Jinhao. Which among the two (or three) would you choose as your first fp?

I find Jinhao 82 and x450 to have aesthetic designs, though the robustness of Pilot Kakuno makes me think twice about it. What's your opinion on this?

Where do you shop yours and when do you do it? I find Shopee to be the most convenient wat for me to purchase fps. Though, the markup on some stores conflicts me. I need to purchase an ink bottle too. Probably, something blood red.

How many journals have you filled?
Which one is your favorite?
What’s your go-to journal and pen?
Do you keep old journals or toss them when they’re full?

PCOS/PMOS Journal

Hi, creatives!

I have just been diagnosed with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome or PMOS, formerly called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS.

I am tooootally new to this, and all I know is just the basic info. I wanna learn more about it, so I am planning to make a separate journal for my PCOS journey.

Is there anyone here who did the same? Do you have a diary or journal for your condition? What do you usually write or put in it?

Also, what resources do you think are reliable to study?

Hoping to hear from you. Thank you so much!

How do you decide which month to include the week in?

For the bujo/DIY planner friennies, how do you decide if a week belongs before or after the new month? For me, if the week only has 2 days of the previous month, I include it in the next month. If it has 3 or more days of the previous month, I include it in the previous month.

Newbie fountain pen question

Hi! So this weekend I don't know what got into me, but I bought my very first fountain pen! Since I'm new to this I bought a cheap one lang, the writech space up fountain pen. Been trying to use it pero ganto ba talaga yung output(?) niya? Parang hindi smooth yung labas ng ink? Or mali lang yung way ko ng pagsulat 😅

Sorry for the writing, I'm just rambling hehe new to journaling din, so day one ba to? 🤣
