We've come a long way now, Minecraft evolved into a more renewable and sustainable material gathering. With that said, how about making most of the raw materials for building renewable—well, you still need to design a farm for it.

Dirt and gravel are now renewable—indirectly. But how about sand and the likes? I'm against duping in my world (well, aside from tnt), because it makes Minecraft boring. Though, making farms to make it infinitely accessible doesn't defeat the purpose of the game, since you still need to gather materials for it.

I think making sand renewable would unlock more building capabilities in survival.

To clarify, posting bikinis and topless pictures with the proper setting is ok. Intentional insinuation of sexual pleasure isn't.

Ever since I started playing Minecraft Java, I tend to pick everything up: dirt, cobblestone, sand. It got to a point where unless its renewable, I need to pick every last one of it. Pretty much coal shortage but on a massive scale.

This has been my problem ever since. Do any of you have the same quirk?

I don't even wanna smelt sand into glass—back then—because you can't convert glass to sand.

One small mistake from your end or theirs, would put you on a spot where a day (week or month) is wasted in rectifying it.

It seems like three prevalent scenarios arise when child proposes an idea to their parents: ridicule, acknowledgement, or avoidance.

1. Ridicule

Parents who thinks of ideas as black and white does this most of the time. They resort to laughter, teasing, or embarrassing their child's ridiculous ideas without first acknowledging and explaining the unreachable conclusion it holds.

2. Acknowledgement

Those who have experience a boat load of things might do this, which is the best case among all the given scenarios. Not only do these types of parents acknowledge their child's ideas, but only explains and deliberately suggests or reject their ideas in a way that the child learns.

3. Avoidance

The child's idea not only isn't seen, but also the child himself/herself is rejected by means of avoidance. If not for the ridicule scenario, this would be the harshest response from the parents.

To you, why do parents do these types of response to their child's ideas? Is it lack of experience? thoughtful considerations? or just blatantly ignorant on what child development is?

For me, this should be an innate thing parents should have, because they experienced those things first hard, they would easily know how it feels to not achieve the things they want. Therefore, it should be automatic that they are the forerunners for their child's creative thinking to develop and prosper.

I'm planning to DIY a book cloth for my journal cover. I was wondering if using a fusible material such as Pelon 1035F is viable? Only one side is fusible so I'm unsure if it will prevent glue from seeping to the fabric.

The heat and bond route is a no go for me, since either the product is too expensive or isn't available in my region.

I've also considered using hot melt adhesive film (used with t-shirt products), but I don't know if it will work, given that either the paper or the fabric will melt with the adhesive when fused. Am I wrong?

On another note, what are the other alternatives I can use for the paper backing besides Japanese paper. I have a ream of legal sized copy paper, 70 gsm. Will that work?

I'm still debating if I'm gonna enter law school or not, since it's a full on commitment and the necessary funds to fuel it. So for now, maybe I'm just gonna familiarize myself with the law and decide after.

I'm trying to find the cheapest paper for fountain pens, since it will be used only for handwriting practice. Has anyone tried to use yellow pad before (NBS, Veco, Victory, etc)? or even copy paper? Can you write back-to-back with it?

I usually use staplers as a binding method for my inserts, but recently I wanna use threads instead. What type/brand have you used that worked really well. Mind sharing the store link, if you bought it online?

This subreddit talks about journaling in its entirety. One common question that might puzzle beginners is what type of paper should they use for <type of pen>.

Would the mods of this subreddit create a pinned post about all the types of paper with they respective properties and qualities: can it handle fountain pens? gel pens? or markers? What's the paper's GSM, price, availability? Is it budget friendly? How is the texture of the paper, is it rough? or smooth?

It bugs me to think na ginagamit ang space na ito for sharing their family/personal issues. May kabit, away pamilya, utang, properties, etc. pang nakikita online. Honestly, if kayo kayo lang rin naman yan, bakit shinashare niyo pa sa mga social media platforms. Worst pinapatulfo pa.

Ang mahal kasi ng ream cutter, so ang ginagamit ko lang is ruler and box cutter. Have any of you tried a paper guillotine instead?

I'm trying to get into this hobby. I've studied and absorbed all the things I can towards bookbinding. With that said, aside from a ream cutter for cutting custom size notebooks, is a paper guillotine a good alternative? I mean, you can use a box cutter and a ruler, but that takes more time to cut papers.

What I intend to do is to batch papers when cutting. This would cut the time off out of cutting but still produce consistent cuts throughout the process.
