How does journaling help you in life? What changes did you notice upon doing it?

This question might seem stupid, but how does it affect your life? Does it improve your concentration? mindfulness? Creativity? or what? Do you revisit your old journals from time to time?

This is more on written journals, but other types would be appreciated.

What fountain pen would you recommend for beginners?

I've decided to jump into the rabbit hole. I've scoured the internet for general tips and tricks, as well as, brands of fountain pens. Two brands (well, actually three: Majohn) popped up, namely, Pilot Kakuno and Jinhao. Which among the two (or three) would you choose as your first fp?

I find Jinhao 82 and x450 to have aesthetic designs, though the robustness of Pilot Kakuno makes me think twice about it. What's your opinion on this?

Where do you shop yours and when do you do it? I find Shopee to be the most convenient wat for me to purchase fps. Though, the markup on some stores conflicts me. I need to purchase an ink bottle too. Probably, something blood red.

Notebooks or Binders?

Honestly, If I can restart my schooling. I'd choose binders. It's fully customizable and cost-effective. It also lessens the carrying load from your bag.

So, if you're a student. Transition to binders now. It will change you.

Grid or blank pages in note taking?

Personally, I'd chose grid. It's versatile and structured.

You can use it in any form of studying. From linguistics to math notes. You also can categorize thoughts by panel making.

Has any of you tried to purchase binders from this Shopee store?

https://preview.redd.it/1k1s686c36ah1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=48dd7254cb6ad4e80234b080cbd2b2cc0a75f88f

I'm planning to purchase a binder for a specific study I'm trying to do. This Shopee store sells affordable ones and what catches my attention was that all the materials of the binder are plastic. I really don't like steel ones, since, from past experiences, it rusts.

If you guys have any specific stores you shop your stationaries that is both affordable and sturdy, please share them with me. Thank you.

What if we integrated US no front fence in our households?

Honestly, it still bugs me that most houses in the US have no front fences. I, personally, can't live in an environment like that. It keeps me awake at night all the time. Though, what if we incorporated that urban design in the plans of housing projects before?

How would our "Makabayan" and "Hospitality" shifts? Would we have more petty and serious crimes?

Honestly, it looks good, but being naked in front for everyone to just go and knock at your front door seems to be an indefinite security risk.

I'm trying to get into sketching and I want to use pens as a warmup tool (not pencil). But I don't wanna spend a lot of money on a practice pen. Instead of buying the same pen, what I want to do it to refill my current one with a refill ink.

The product description says it's "CHINESE INK for Chinese Calligraphy Chinese Painting". Is it ok to use it?

Is MVR1 Racing Hyper Clutch a Slipper clutch?

https://preview.redd.it/bmmbp62vs78h1.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=3daf70fc246fed08ee4fbb24f26b462743a5f494

My father upgraded my/his motorcycle and showed me what parts he changed it to. Sinabi niya kasing, slipper clutch to eh sa box palang hyper clutch na yung branding. I insisted and instead of following through and make it an argument, pinabayaan ko nalang.

Yung argument niya ay natanggal na daw yung bakal sa gitna at naging 5 spring na.

Sa mga mahilig mag upgrade, is he right?
