Post hole digger recommendations for BX?

So, I'm aware of the Land Pride PD10, but it doesn't dig very deep, and there don't seem to be a lot of used options. Has anyone successfully used a PD15 on their BX?

I see one guy had success with the Tractor Supply model (src), which also seems to be sort of big but he makes it work.

I keep seeing the PD15 pop up used, and would love to just buy that if it'll work. This is for a BX23S.

Is it okay for backhoe weight to rest on tie downs?

I tried my hand at making a backhoe dolly for my BX23S, and it works but right now all the weight in the back is rested on these two parts.

(Admittedly I'm not sure if these are tie downs, I looked through the manual and couldn't find a name for this part. But it's the loop where it says "No Step")

I can maybe add an extra layer of wood to the back to fix this if it matters.

Implement to mow down lupine field?

I have about a half acre of lupine to maintain. It's a community treasure so I'm looking to keep it thriving but contained. The previous property owner paid to have it cut down to the ground once a year in late summer. I'm going to try my hand at scything it with a ditch blade first, but idk how that will go.

Curious to hear what implement y'all would choose for this task. This would be going on a BX23S. I have a 54" midmount mower but can't imagine this would be good for it.

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Hi, I've read that negotiation is typical at dealerships, but I'm wondering what a reasonable price is these days. Curious to hear people's experiences on this.

The "orange days" sale is going on at my dealership which offers $500 off all BX, additional $2000 off cash or non-0% financing, and additional $1500 off BX23S.

Even so, I saw people mentioning prices in threads that were WAY lower than these, even with the discounts applied, though they were from a few years ago. How much do you think can / should be negotiated down from here?

I'm weighing two options as you can see: (1) smallest tractor, primarily mow with some loader work, vs. (2) having the backhoe for fun digging projects, small ponds, drainage work, etc. I know the best financial decision is typically to rent an excavator but as a noob I think it would be nice to have the backhoe so I can learn and take on projects slowly. I only have 1.6 acres and most of it is lawn at the moment but we're excited for projects.
