A noob problem for smart algotraders: "Help the noob": I found lots of high win rate strategies but tail losses are keeping me down. Help me how to "prompt" this problem away

This is a noob question.

You found a strategy.

Nice equity curve, high win rate. But there are some losses that take down multiple profitable winner trades. the tail losses.

Everything looks perfect in the mt5 tester.

You go to live. The tail loss shows up . too weird. statistically it shouldn´t be showing up so early.

You got the high win rate but your drawdown is not being respected.

You are a noob. you are still clueless about how to detect "regime changes" automatically.

How do you prompt away problems like this one: high win rates but tail loss ( avg loss y multiple times avg profit)

Have you been in these situations when you found solid strategies but you got this nasty avg loss that not only may eat you multiple profitable trades but it likes to show up more frequently in live than in backtesting mode?

Hi I am from Argentina btw... Sorry American people. it is too late now.

The problem is war with Russia + China, Iran now. This may accelerate your fall.
Argentina got broke but we didn´t push it faster with international wars.

Argentina crashed faster because noone was demanding pesos internationally.

Since the world is still using USD internationally, then this domestic money printing is still being hoarded by no PM people ( normies) worldwide.

This is why you got this slow motion train wreck.

Problem is arming Ukraine and fighting against Iran ( China gas station) may accelerate things form now.

Have fun . Share this with family. And prepare for 2027-2028 accordingly.

Silverbacks: AMFT tested the viral "Matrix trick" with a Silver Eagle — what holds it up? The found our reality is a simulation and using lasers you can see the "matrix code" on the walls

A strange laser experiment went viral after people said the red light (laser) revealed “code” inside reality. Then came the penny-on-the-wall test.

So I made a 56-second cinematic version for the silver crowd: AMFT, one confused silverback, and an American Silver Eagle that refuses to fall.

Watch the release, then vote in the comments:

XRP - DTCC - Mellon

Connecting the Dots: DTCC Voting Power, BNY Mellon, and Ripple’s Strategic Masterstroke

Hey everyone,

I’ve been digging into the institutional plumbing of Wall Street lately, specifically looking at how power is distributed within the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and it reveals a massive, overlooked narrative regarding Ripple’s long-term strategy.

DTCC "Ownership"

Many people think the DTCC is an untouchable government entity, but it is actually a private consortium owned by its users (major banks and broker-dealers). Here is the kicker: voting power and stock allocation within the DTCC are recalculated periodically based on transaction volume.

The firms that move the most liquidity exercise the most leveraged power over DTCC governance. This puts global custody giants like BNY Mellon (BNY) at the very top of the food chain because they manage the movement of trillions in underlying assets. You can see how their governance and leadership are structured directly on the DTCC Board of Directors Page.

Enter BNY Mellon & Ripple

This is where the Ripple connection becomes incredibly profound. Rather than trying to fight the legacy system from the outside, Ripple has systematically partnered with the precise institutions that hold the leveraged power over the DTCC.

The RLUSD Custody Play: When Ripple launched its US dollar-backed stablecoin, they didn't pick a crypto-native startup to hold the cash. They chose BNY Mellon as the primary custodian to secure the US dollar reserves and Treasuries backing Ripple USD ($RLUSD).

  • The Infrastructure Bridge: BNY Mellon is also the back-end engine powering roughly 80% of the SEC-approved Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, meaning they are the ultimate bridge between legacy capital and digital assets.

By securing BNY Mellon as the custodian for RLUSD, Ripple isn’t just launching a stablecoin; they are embedding the XRP Ledger ecosystem directly into the core infrastructure of a bank that functionally helps dictate DTCC risk management and boardroom policy.

As transaction volumes migrate toward tokenized assets and institutional stablecoins, the banks holding the power over the DTCC are utilizing Ripple’s enterprise software to settle global transactions.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Is Ripple playing a game of institutional chess that the broader market is completely missing?

DTCC power is controlled by high-volume banks like BNY Mellon. BNY Mellon is the custodian for Ripple's RLUSD. Ripple is embedding its tech into the literal owners of the traditional financial system.

hOPE YOU LOVE the Hopium , fam. because it is the best hopium I can give you now.

No more riddles. I want action , fam.

THoughts?

The short term silver storm: Higher interest rates . Multiple causality

hi fam.
it seems metals had a nice run. Now with war risk, crude oil prices not going down fast... inflation risk...that brings "inflation risks".

Charts look bad for gold > pushing to 4200$. So higher crude oil prices > higher interest rates > metals down > that´s what the markets are thinking now.

Rumors of lower economic activity in the Middle East - Asia thanks to Middle East attack.

Also bond yields are pointing higher...that´s bad for metals.

It is a multi causality : bad charts, higher interest rate, inflation risk, war...

Also they may tell you "turkey sold gold reserves"...yup. They need liquidity or "funding for war".

guess what Middle East countries were stacking? gold. will they sell gold for war funding?

Charts look bad. So we may go down from now even more for metals.

Where? I expect gold back to 4200 and silver below 70 soon.

Remember me? I am just a top hunter.
