My response for the last journal entry was about how people spend a lot of time, when looking for a partner, talking about how we show up when we are at our best and what people expect from partners at their best, but I actually think that talking about who you are when you aren’t at your best and what you need from a partner when you aren’t at your best is more important because trying to get back to your best is the actual struggle, nobody is showing up at their absolute best every day, and life is a continuing process of trying to get to and maintain 100% and so not being compatible when you’re only at 50% of your best and trying to get back to 100% is what probably ends more relationships.

I’ve had friends look at this, but you know how that goes - people often aren’t very objective with people they know.
