GS-441525 dosage too small?

My cat was 6.45 lbs when he was weighed at the vet June 22nd, and was 7.65 lbs, when I weighed him on July 2nd. The vet prescribed him .7ml once per day, of a 50g/ml oral suspension, for neuro fip.

Is this dose too small? Should I be giving him about twice as much?

I've been giving him this dose for 10 days and he seems mostly fine so far.

I emailed the veterinary office, a few days ago, and they have yet to respond.

Edit 1: Update July 3rd the vet responded with this e-mail.

> Good morning!

> We see what you are looking at regarding the dosing guides, however there are multiple ways to dose this medication and the Doctors have had best success with the formula they are currently using. They like to stay on the lower end of dosing.
For now, we still recommend sticking with the current dosage for Little Bit and continue to keep us up to date of any changes or concerns. Thank you!

Looking for advice for 4 year old tuxedo cat "Little Bit"

My cat Little Bit was recently diagnosed with FIP. I've attached a very recent picture of him, as well as the test results.

I'm not sure what I should do to get him to eat, or what I should do to get him medication. Or if he even has fip.

On the 5th I noticed that he wasn't eating or drinking very much and his 3rd eyelid was showing. On the 10th I took him into the vet, and the vet ran some expensive tests. On the 11th he diagnosed him as having fip. He gave him antibiotic and prednisone not (prednisolone, btw).

I've been able to get him to eat maybe about a teaspoon of food a day. When he has a bowel movement it looks like clear jelly, but recently there were some small black or green-black jelly-like bms.

On the 14th it seemed like maybe he was feeling a bit better, but then yesterday, on the 15th, it seemed like he was feeling worse.

Today, the 16th, I force fed him about 2mL of a mixture of water and wet food pate, from a syringe. He hated it, but he refused to eat anything.

He's about 4 years old. He's just a little guy. The most he's ever weighed is 9 lbs and he's usually closer to 8 lbs. Right now he's 6.8 lbs.

I joined the FIP Global Cats group, but haven't posted there yet.

Money has been a bit tight lately, but we might be able to swing for the antivirals if it's not too high. Otherwise I might need to try to find some sort of donations.

I live in Arkansas, USA (AR, not AK), so some of the compounding pharmacies don't ship here. In particular, Specialty Vet Pharmacy, which seems to be the most affordable.

I've seen the list of compounding pharmacies from the FIP G C group, and it looks like BCP or Pet Script might be the most affordable option for GS oral Suspension, and Molnupiravir oral suspension from Westwood is the most affordable overall, of the options that are available in Arkansas.

I would also need to convince my Vet to allow me to order from these places. When he mentioned the antiviral medicine he said it was very expensive and can be hard to get, so he may have been thinking of Stokes (though even the cheapest option is by no means cheap).

We will probably try to schedule an appointment with our vet tomorrow, to talk to him about antiviral treatment options, but I want to be well prepared.

Thank you.
