I have an iPhone 15 Pro and an iPhone 17. I was using Apple’s 20W charger, and while it charges very quickly my phones get noticeably warm during charging, Since I only charge overnight I don’t really need the extra speed

So I switched to a different setup:

• Beats USB-A to USB-C Woven Cable (1.5m) (Apple)
• Belkin BoostCharge Dual Wall Charger (42W) (Apple)

The Belkin charger has two ports:

• USB-C (up to 30W)
• USB-A (up to 12W)

Instead of using the 30W USB-C port, I’m using the 12W USB-A port with the Beats USB-A to USB-C cable.

The result has been exactly what I wanted:

• Charging is slower which is fine because it’s overnight.
• The phone stays cool throughout the entire charge.
• I haven’t noticed the heat that I used to get with the 20W charger.

I’m not trying to start a debate about fast charging vs. slow charging. I’m specifically looking for people who have actually used a 12W charger with an iPhone 15, 16, or 17.

• How long have you been using it?
• Have you had any issues?

Is he still with AEW, and has there been any recent update on his return?
