Doing my head in!

Just looking for any sort of advice / reassurance really. I’ve suffered with what you can see in the pictures attached for years, and it’s gradually gotten worse.

I’ve been to see a dermatologist specialist privately (I’m in UK) and they told me it’s NOT rosacea, and it was just a “ruddy complexion”. But I find this hard to believe, it has all the characteristics of rosacea.

During a flare up it stings.. a lot.. and is very sore. It’s also very reactive to temp changes. If I sit in an air conned room, or in the winter and I’m outside then go inside to a warmer room, it’s guaranteed to flare up.

Nothing I do cools it, or soothes it.

It’s destroying my mental health, as I’m stuck in an anxious loop of waiting for it to happen, then when I feel it starting I panic and the more I panic the worse it gets, and my throat also blotches.

Any ideas / advice / treatments welcome, as I’m at my whits end.
