Tree fell during a storm. Still getting advice on weather i should put it back up (i would like to) or remove tree and plant a new one.

(This is my second post, I forgot to upload the pictures in my first post 😓)

So my trees came down during a storm this past weekend. Can they be put back safely?

Also why are the roots so shallow? I assumed trees would have roots several feet deep. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks everyone.
