- Wed 7/1: SouthOC4Democracy hosts the OC Singing Resistance for a guest performance in Mission Viejo, and Food Not Bombs Irvine returns to UCI for their weekly Really Really Free Market summer hours.
- Sat 7/4: Don’t miss this edition of the weekly Aliso Viejo rally for the 4th of July, featuring DJ Shireen. Rally time is also extended until 1pm for this day! Don’t forget to bring essentials donations for neighbors in need.

The Singing Resistance, which sprang up in Minnesota in December 2025 in response to ICE activity, was inspired by the Singing Revolution of Estonia in the late 1980s. The OC chapter of the Singing Resistance follows their example by singing publicly in the streets for the sake of solace, strength, solidarity, to voice their dissent, and to show their refusal to cooperate with oppressive and autocratic forces.
