Synesthesia carried to adult life?

Since I am a child there are 3 names that make me think strongly of food, and one of them makes me taste it slightly. The association is as follows:
- Jessica: strong mental imagery of zucchini and the world zucchini in Portuguese, my first language.
- Natasha: strong mental imagery of shrimp and the world shrimp in Portuguese.
- Natalia: strong mental imagery, the word cod in Portuguese, and slightly taste of cod fish.

The world zucchini does not make me think of Jessica, but the world abobrinha (Portuguese) does. Same with shrimp and cod fish, just hearing the words in Portuguese makes me think of the names. Eating cod fish does not make me think of Natalia. So it works this way as well, the words make me think of the names strongly just like the names make me think of the food items and words simultaneously. Eating shrimp doesn’t make me think of Natasha. Eating zucchini makes me think of Jessica, even a picture of a zucchini makes me think of the name.

There’s no specific individuals with these names that I recall from my childhood. I don’t love cod fish and shrimp, so I eat it rarely. As a child I would hate seafood so much, I only start introducing seafood to my diet when I was around 15 years old. I eat zucchini regularly since I am a child.

Nothing here bothers me, it is just curious as I was taking a class on child development and learned about synesthesia in infants. I wonder those are the only connections I formed on my synesthesia phase that became strong enough to be kept. What do you all think?

Cat groomer recommendation?

The ones I’m finding are $130+ for a wet bath & grooming; I was looking for something more affordable
