So I have only read two books of the {Captive of Wolves by Eva Chase} series and that was like 4 years ago. I do remember that I wasn’t invested enough in the story to read 9 books about Talia. {Saved by Wolves by Eva Chase} is free on audible plus and because I hate the new plus catalogue set up, I just went through and downloaded a bunch. This ended up being one of them so I listened to it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the whole reason Kara tried to have Talia killed was because she stole Kara’s fated mate (they call it something else in the book). So then Kara goes gallivanting across the country and stumbles upon three men that she falls in love with. That’s great for her that she’s over the heartbreak of losing her fated mate. She mates the wolves. What about their fated mates? She’s doing the same thing as Talia by taking men who are not her fated mates as mates. (Also I don’t think I’ve ever used the phrase “fated mate” so much in my life.) Isn’t that like super hypocritical of her? Or am I not understanding this world’s rules because I didn’t read the first ones. I don’t want to go back and read them because that is definitely a big commitment. I’m kinda pissed at Kara though, so if someone could clarify for me. I was so heartbroken for her but at the end, I was really hoping they were her other fated mates. Maybe it wasn’t communicated by Eva Chase very well that they are but I didn’t see any mention of that. Thank you!
Has anyone noticed that if you exit the kindle app and then go back in later, the words on the page have moved? Like where I finished off will be at the top of the page but when I come back, that paragraph is at the bottom of the page. Is it just my phone or is it the app?
I’ve seen several times now where an author will right something along the lines of “Mmc nods his head no”. Is this just a mistake or is it a language/region thing?
Does anyone have a title for this one? Or can just spoil it for me?
I just finished {Out of This World by Ari Wright}. I like mm in a reverse harem but I personally feel like in a lot of them, the fmc ends up being a consolation prize while the relationship mainly focuses on the mm. I’ve seen some other people comment similar feelings so I just wanted to put this out there. There’s nothing wrong if you like the books that focus more on the mm but I don’t like when the fmc feels like a third wheel. In this book, the mmcs stroke each other for the pleasure of the fmc. I was so frustrated with the Prime Alpha because he was being stupid but in his defense, omegas hadn’t been seen on his planet for over 20 years. It was so good though. I hope she writes books about the two friends of the fmc and that we get to explore the “enemy” alien race of the mmcs more.
