Visited the above museum today and had moderate expectations going in. It's astounding how well an artist recreated the city as truthful to history (including aulos players) in a gigantig 180 degree painting sitting around a tower you climb to get a birds eye view. Flanked by artifacts of the site, including a magnificent head of a Heracles statue, made it a terrific experience. Also a ton of books on ancient greek religion in the gift shop :) Highly recommended from me, anybody of you visited the museum as well?
