Hey everyone,

I’m currently working in the FinCrime & Compliance domain and lately I’ve been exploring a transition into Risk Management. FRM has been on my radar for quite some time, but before fully committing to it, I wanted to understand whether the curriculum and field genuinely suit my interests and aptitude.

So I wanted to ask — is anyone here currently pursuing or has already cleared FRM Part I?

If yes, could you guide me a bit regarding how you approached the preparation? Also, if anyone could help me with Schweser notes or suggest any free resources/mock tests/YouTube channels for beginners, I’d really appreciate it.

At this stage, I mainly want to explore the concepts properly before investing heavily into registration and prep materials.

Hi I am 25M and single since jurassic era.

Being single itself doesn’t even bother me anymore. What bothers me is the public inquiry committee around it. Friends, colleagues, random relatives, the fuckin chaiwala.

“Why are you single?”

“Bro you must be hiding something.”

“are you gay?”

It's so fucking irritating BC.

Yk the scary part is that I think I’ve genuinely lost interest. Not in women obv just in the whole chasing impressing, texting, socializing, olympics thing. I stopped taking initiative already. Even when a woman talks to me first, my brain immediately switches to email mode.

Her: “Hey haha”

Me: “Noted.”

Her: “What are you doing this weekend?”

Me: “Okay.”

Just one word answers. Because I know either I'm getting friend zone or ghosted. 😑

I don’t even act mysterious on purpose. I’m just exhausted and feels like dating is just not for me.

Now people assume I’ve either:

1. Given up on women

2. Secretly heartbroken

3. Gay

4. A monk preparing for enlightenment

And honestly I don’t even know anymore.

Main issue is HOW DO I AVOID THESE QUESTIONS? I need socially acceptable responses that don’t turn into a TED Talk about my nonexistent love life.

Anyway the intended purpose of this post is just to rant. If you’re also 25+ and romantically unemployed, welcome to the club.
