Hi everyone! I'm a Software Engineering student from Pakistan and I'm interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity. I'm a bit confused about where to start and which path to follow (SOC, penetration testing, cloud security, GRC, etc.).

I'd really appreciate guidance on:

- What skills should I learn first?

- Which certifications are worth it for beginners?

- What projects or labs should I build?

I recently moved back home to Lahore from uni (elsewhere) and I feel like I don't know anyone here anymore because I've outgrown almost all of my school friends. So I'm looking to make new friends in lahore and Ig UMT peeps are cool

So I want that type of people who know how to enjoy and want to explore lahore.

A little bit about me: I'm 20, M, I love watching movies, exploring old lahore and talking about them so if you do too, we'll probably get along I want to try out new food, going on walks, or doing any fun spontaneous activities. I have a bunch of goals set for myself

Looking to connect with people of my age or older because I'm in a slump nowadays and feeling super isolated so would like to meet people who are or have been in a similar situation. I promise I'm an interesting person to be around :D
