Since this is a very male-centric errand and females are not usually expected to go to a workshop and get this stuff done, I need to know where can I get my car serviced in reasonable and respectful, female friendly space in Lahore?

How are people finding partners that will actually marry you and not just waste your time?.  My  Instagram feed is filled with love and wedding reels. 😭😭😭The thing is I don’t want a relationship/situationship/ talking stage etc and a lot of people nowadays want to do a long talking stage before marriage. Everyone sucks. I don't know how people find love at such an early age. 

F(26) - Moved back to Lahore after many years. Spent my O-Levels and A-Levels in Islamabad after which I moved abroad for higher education. I just came back to Pakistan last year and my parents decided to move back to their home city: Lahore.

I think one of the beauties of Lahore is that it is extremely rich with culture and diverse with people. With that being said, how does one find a community here? How do you meet (like-minded) people organically?

My work is pretty meh. My only co-workers are men around my dad's age so the possibility of finding good friends at work are extremely low unfortunately.

I'm planning to buy an iPhone and I'm confused between these two options:

• iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB (PTA Approved) – around PKR 350k
• iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB (Non-PTA) – almost the same price or less maybe

I already have an android phone, so sim usage isn't an issue I can keep using that.

So the main purpose is to flex and everyday use, and i don't mind carrying 2 phones together, but do you think it's embarrassing that you've an iphone but it's non-pta and you've to pull your android to make calls on the sims, usi moment aura tou "-----" hojeyga no?

Hi, i am thinking about switching to cruiser for solo long drives and ditch my corolla . Anyone have experience with this bike? My first option was keeway superlight 200 but difficult to find in good condition. Tried cyclone 250 but wanted that classic harley feel , and keeway or overdrive i can make them look traditional bobber later

I moved to Lahore just two months ago. Last night, my roommate fell down some stairs and got his leg injured. So at 2 A.M, we went to Jinnah Hospital. I had this image of government hospitals in my mind that the staff will behave rudely, we will be served poorly and stuff like that. But TBH I was amazed at how polite the staff was. We got through the first aid department, then the pharmacy, then the X-ray department and finally at the ortho department (I dunno if these are called departments or whatev)... Each individual was so kind and polite. This one nurse called us "beta, bcha" and she guided us through the whole process. The ortho docs were very friendly and the person who did my friend's bandages was also a very kind man. We went to the canteen and grabbed some chaye and snacks for the kind nurse. When we offered her, she said "Aap mery bcho jesy hyn... Main achi nhi lgu gi aap sy yeh lety hue" but we insisted and she took them. I have been in Fsd and Toba hospitals before and the staff there won't even consider you human. So this was a truly wholesome experience for me., not for my friend tho.... He's on a 2 week bed rest.

Hii! We're a group of people practice badminton once a week (yes even in this scorching heat its actually not that baad in the courts during evening, esp indoor courts.)

Figured I’d give Reddit a shot because if algorithms haven’t found my wife yet, maybe actual humans will.
I’m originally from Pakistan and moved to California last year. I have a background in Computer Science and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning while working. Before that, I spent several years building businesses in IT and startups. I enjoy creating things from scratch. Turns out that’s easier than finding someone who replies with more than “lol.”

I’d describe myself as ambitious but fairly low maintenance. I enjoy meaningful conversations, random late-night drives, discovering good food, and chai that’s actually worth the caffeine. I’m equally happy discussing AI, business ideas, why biryani should never have raisins, or planning a spontaneous weekend trip.

Faith is important to me, not just as a label but as something I try to practice. I’m far from perfect, but I’m intentional about growing and becoming a better Muslim and a better person.

Family means a lot to me. Both of my parents have passed away, but Alhamdulillah I’m blessed with a close-knit family. I have three brothers in finance, medicine, and tech, and one sister, so there’s never a shortage of opinions or WhatsApp notifications.

What I’m Looking For

I’m looking for someone who’s kind, educated, grounded in her deen, and emotionally mature. Someone who’s confident without needing to prove it, enjoys good conversations, communicates openly, and doesn’t think every disagreement is the end of the world.

I appreciate someone who takes care of herself, values cleanliness, and has a natural sense of humor. I admire people who are curious, thoughtful, and excited about building a life together rather than just checking boxes.
I’m here because I genuinely want to get married. Not looking for endless talking stages or collecting matches. If we get along, great. If not, I sincerely hope you find exactly what you’re looking for, insha’Allah.

P.S. If your idea of a heated debate is whether chai should come before or after dinner… we’ll probably get along just fine.
