Came across this rattlesnake last night during a hike, it was about 2 ft long, kind of thin, maybe 2 fingers thick max, small head, no white or black bands near the rattle, would appreciate help in id’ing it, first time I’ve seen a rattlesnake at this trail head (40th st trailhead Phx mountain preserve)

went for a nice afternoon hike today in Phoenix AZ after a bit of rain, and saw this little critter I’ve never seen before , I would appreciate help in id’ing it

I am curious as to what species of owl this feather belongs to, would like some help in finding out.
