Automatic SOC on CarPlay?
hi folks, I have a stupid question.
i'm not very familiar with abrp and have been using abrp on longer journeys with my id.4 pure 52kwh for approximate planning, no live data, by manually putting in starting SOC and approximate kwh/100km value. vw doesn't offer online services, so no other option than obd for live data, where I currently live and don't want to use obd. therefore, i'm currently planning to stick with approximate planning.
that being said, i've tried using abrp yesterday for an urban journey, 10-15km and used it on carplay. my soc was wrong at first (not off by much), i wanted to adjust it later after i set off via navigation settings. after hitting the road, the soc seemed to adjust itself and state a similar SOC as the real life (+- 2%).
have i missed something lately? does abrp and my car now somehow communicate with each other via carplay and show correct-ish SOC? or was it a coincidence somehow that I set it to a nearby value? am I hallucinating?
