Bad Lieutenant is back

Oh... this really is funny. Even if it's for health reasons, Hooky's statement from just a day ago makes it even funnier.
Barney fans, would you still say Hooky always lies? This has reached a whole new level of irony. When Barney left New Order for Electronic, there was no New Order. When Hooky left? Hell no - they're still New Order. Can the irony get any greater? What first happens as tragedy repeats itself as comedy.
For years now, Barney has opened many shows by saying, "We're New Order." About 40 years ago, he said it to reassure people that they weren't Joy Division. It's even in their social media bios (including YouTube).
Description
New Order are Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham.
Biography
From the ashes of legendary band Joy Division, New Order triumphed over tragedy to emerge as one of the most influential and acclaimed bands of all time.
So... what are you now?
Edit:
I love New Order with all my heart, and I love Joy Division too. But Joy Division isn't Joy Division without Ian, Steve, Barney, or Hooky. And the same applies to New Order. I really hope it isn't because of health issues (though, yes, they've both gotten older). Wishing both of them and their families all the best.
Edit 2:
For those with a questionable sense of humor, here's what I find funny:
How the Bernard-like fans will keep shouting, "This is New Order!" - even if, one day, it's only Bernard left
How this announcement came just a day after Hook said they were about to split. Did he already know it was because of health issues? Or was the "health issues" explanation announced by the band's PR so it wouldn't look like there were stormy days in the New New Order camp? Is everyone telling the truth, or is someone leaving parts of the story out?
And many, many more questions that we may never get answers to
