I want to take a health insurance and I have mostly no clue about it. I am 25F. Most of the internet says to go for HDFC Ergo Optima Secure+ Plan. I asked claude to look for any red flags in theeir brochure I got from Policybazaar. It said there is a deductible of 1Lakh and maternity is also not covered.

Now I would like to have maternity cover for the future. The premium for this plan is on the higher side. So I am confused if maternity cover is not included this, will it be there in other plans? Girlies who have gone through pregnancy, how did the health insurance work for you? Did it cover the expenses?

The policy agents are spamming me with calls. Should I seek their help, tell them what I need or do research on my own?
