I finally did it!!

After 7 failed attempts over the past 3 years, I finally completed 75 Hard.

I went through a breakup after a relationship of 5 years and gained 20kg, started abusing alcohol and drugs and wasn't in a good place, physically or mentally.

Then, after getting the flu for the FOURTH time in just six months, something clicked.

I made it, no shortcuts, no rule bending.

I lost 14.9 kg (32.8 lbs). I couldn't run 1km and now I can easily run 7km. I made a sports bucket list and have checked off so many boxes already :)

I know that 75 Hard alone doesn't solve addiction or mental health struggles. I still have work to do but it did help me to keep myself accountable and reach out for professional help so I can keep this up.

If  you've failed at something more times than you can count, please don't assume that means you're incapable of changing.

I was scared of the challenge coming to and end and not having the rules as guidance but I have to say it feels more like a new beginning than and end. :))
